Reporting was the easy part. Now comes the doing.
Your independent specialist on modern slavery risk due diligence and effectiveness.
Your independent specialist on modern slavery risk due diligence and effectiveness.

Plenty of advisers tell you what the rules say. I help you take action and assess whether it's working. The regulatory focus is shifting to what you actually did, and whether it is making a meaningful difference.
It is about continuous improvement. Know your suppliers. Catch problems early. Avoid the disruptions, disputes and expensive clean-ups that come from not knowing, not doing.
Get ahead of the regulators. Build compliance you can stand behind.
A modern slavery statement alone is not enough. I build the work behind it: risk mitigation roadmaps, human rights due diligence and salience assessments under the UN Guiding Principles and OECD guidance, and responsible sourcing across your supply chain policies and procedures. So what you disclose reflects what you actually did, as a reasonable steps position.
Build a proportionate approach to modern slavery risk compliance that can withstand scrutiny, from risk identification and supplier due diligence through to mitigation, remediation, evidence and disclosure.
Showing your actions are effective is the hardest reporting criterion, and the one regulators are now scrutinising. It's no longer enough to say your risk is low. You have to show your actions created change and demonstrate the reasonable steps you've taken to stand behind it. This is where the Effectiveness Diagnostic can help.
Running a social program is one thing. Knowing whether it made a meaningful difference is another. I evaluate whether your social programs and community investment genuinely deliver for the people they're meant to serve. This is the discipline the UN Guiding Principles and OECD guidance put at the heart of responsible business: understanding your operational impact on people and communities, not just your activity. It's also where social disclosure is heading. As social-related disclosure expectations develop, organisations will increasingly need credible evidence of the outcomes and impacts associated with their social programs.
When grievances, workplace conflict or partnership tensions surface, they stall projects and cost money. As a nationally accredited mediator, I handle grievances, workplace investigations and disputes independently. I also work with project teams to build trust and shared accountability early, before complex projects and partnerships come apart. This is Praxis RESOLVE. More on its own page.
Specialist enough to go deep. Independent enough to be balanced.
Practical enough to make it work.
Praxis ESG combines deep expertise in governance, human rights and sustainability with hands-on experience building and operating responsible sourcing and social sustainability programs inside complex organisations.
The focus is not simply on what your organisation says it does.
It's on what it actually does, and whether it achieves meaningful change.
I help organisations turn human rights obligations into working business systems and processes.
I bring an independent, practical perspective, grounded in over 25 years' experience making sustainability and human rights work in business across the private and public sectors.
I led global responsible sourcing across eight countries and have extensive experience developing and reporting on modern slavery risk management programs. I've delivered award-winning social programs, including the Barangaroo Skills Exchange, a TAFE partnership that trained 10,000 workers on a live Sydney construction site. My work on inclusive urban design principles won the Australian Human Rights Commission Business Award.
Legally trained, with governance credentials from the Governance Institute of Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors, I am a nationally accredited mediator and experienced board director.
I sit on the Commonwealth Modern Slavery Expert Advisory Group and am a member of the TISFD Alliance.
